What is Granite?

Granite is a natural igneous rock. The way in which these three minerals mix during the formation of the rock defines the unique pattern, colour, and texture of the granite.

Mined all throughout the world, granite worktops are made from sheets of polished stone that are combined together to create the countertop. A hole will normally be cut into the granite piece to fit a sink, which can be either inset or under-mounted.​

Granite is one of the most durable countertops you can purchase. Not only is it beautiful to look at but it acts as a functional surface that you can count on for years to come. It is stain and heat-resistant so it continues to look as good in the years to come as it did when it was first installed.
