FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s the difference between a granite and a quartz worktop?

Granit is a natural stone which makes it unique. No two slabs will ever be the same. Granite is durable and strong, however, it is a naturally porous rock and must be sealed. Granite is easy to clean and requires yearly sealing.

Quartz worktops are man-made using 90-95% quartz, resin, and add-ins like tints and other stones. Quartz is the most popular stone for use in the kitchen because it is easy to maintain and long-lasting. It requires no sealing and is easy to clean.

Which is more expensive?

Cost is dependant on a number of variables, including but not limited to; style, supplier, thickness, quantity and more. Call a member of our team to find out more.

Is granite or quartz better?

The best way to determine whether a granite or quartz worktop is better for you is to consider how it will be used and your level of commitment. Both granite and quartz worktops have their benefits.

Granite worktops are strong, durable, and highly sought after. They can help increase the value of your home. However, granite worktops will require yearly sealing to keep them looking great.

Quartz worktops are also strong and durable. They are nonporous and heat-resistant.
